A (wo)man doesn’t plant a tree for himself. (S)he plants it for posterity. – Alexander Smith
While we were burning the ditch banks a couple weeks ago, I discovered this juniper under the fence line. When I checked a couple days later it had turned red. Then a couple days after that, it looked like it is showing some green.
The birds have left me many junipers under fence lines down through the years. I re-locate them. Five have flourished, some have stalled and remained stunted. After it warms up a bit, I will take a shovel and bucket and dig this one up and give it a chance.
